Book Excerpt: Undressed
Her blue eyes had darkened with lust, exactly as he'd imagined they would, and her hair was coming loose from its butterfly clip.
Her halter top was pulled down and her round, sweet breasts were glistening from all that contact with his mouth.
The only part left was to strip off her panties and cutoffs. He tried to remember why that was a bad idea. Funny, but right now it
seemed like a very good idea.
She struggled for breath. "Why...why did you stop? Is it because I'm not very..." Her hands went to her breasts in the first
self-conscious move she'd made since he'd kissed her.
"No!" He sank back on his heels so he could grasp her hands and gently ease them away, leaving her breasts bare again. "I love to look
at you, touch you, taste you. You're wonderful, everything I want."
She searched his expression, as if she didn't believe him.
He could imagine what this was about. She was comparing her endowments with Pamela's. He could tell her that Pamela's generous breasts
had never turned him on like this, but he didn't want Pamela's name to be part of what they were sharing. "I stopped because I want you too
much. I'm losing control. I didn't intend--"
"Me either." The anxiety cleared from her eyes, and the lust came back in a rush. Freeing her hand from his grasp, she reached down and
unfastened the metal button at the waistband of her cutoffs. "But now, if we don't finish this, I think I'll go crazy."
He swallowed. "Lindsay, are you sure?"
"Yes." She pulled down the zipper. "And while I'm slipping into something more comfortable, like my birthday suit, you can go next door
and get condoms. I'm sure you have some over there."
"I, um, don't have to go next door."
Her eyebrows lifted.
"I thought..." Boy, did this sound stupid, but at the time it had made perfect sense. "When I went to get the beer, I--"
"You planned this?" Some of the light went out of her eyes.
"No! I didn't, I swear! I thought that by putting a couple of condoms in my pocket, I'd guarantee that we wouldn't have sex. You know, how
whenever you take an umbrella, it never rains."
The light returned to her eyes and the corners of her mouth tilted up. "Well, guess what?"
His chest was so tight with anticipation that he could barely breathe. "What?"
"It's raining."
